25 years later, after the last large-scale developments and some important landmarks, such as the company internationalization and company certification, it was the time of modernising the facilities.

1985

In 1985, when the production unit was at full production capacity, it was built the unit number 2, dedicated exclusively to the production of chairs.

1980

In 1980, after a sustained evolution and aiming to increase the facilities, it was built a showroom and a warehouse for finished furniture.

1977

12 years later, in 1977, this small workshop where was produced handmade chairs evolved into a plant using new technology, in which also started to produce tables.
This was the year of creation of JMS - J. MOREIRA DA SILVA & FILHOS, LDA.

1965

Year 1965 in Rebordosa, Paredes, the company’s founder, Mr. JOSÉ AUGUSTO MOREIRA DA SILVA started his chair manufacturing activity in a small workshop.
